There is a very good selection of mens golf clubs with both "all graphite shafts" and "graphite/steel shafts" available on-line with a wide price range.

Things to remember when buying a regular set of mens golf clubs on-line

There are two types of shafts, steel and graphite.The thing about steel shafts to remember is that they are best for golfers with a faster swing.

Graphite is lighter than steel. Because of the light weight the graphite shafts allow for a faster swing which results in a bit more power. Graphite clubs also help absorb the shock sent to your wrist from the club after impact.

Another thing to look for is flex. The flex of the shaft must match the speed of a golf swing.

You may also see clubs fitted with “uniflex shafts”.

This is a way for manufacturers to avoid having to list different shaft flexes for the same golf club set. Generally a unifex shaft is rated to be adequate for a number of swing speeds. (Amateur/Senior, Regular, Stiff etc.).

The actual flex is somewhere between Regular and Stiff.

These are the two most popular flexes that the majority of the more experienced male golfer tend to want. A more flexible shaft is better for beginner and most retirement aged golfers who will have a slower and less powerful swing.

The standard loft of most drivers in regular mens golf club sets is 10.5 degrees.

Again look for the more forgiving clubs that have game improvement features and hybrids to repace the harder to hit long irons.
